Shuttle removes the bottom half of the frame. The lens curves tight to the face and is left rimless along its lower edge, so when you drop into a riding position and look up through the top of the lens there's nothing in the way.
The frame mixes nylon with carbon fibre, which holds it stiff at very low weight, and the lens changes out easily. Rubber-coated temples and nose pads keep it planted on active days.
